How do you grow beneficials?

Has anyone tried to grow their own lady bugs or praying mantis, beneficial predators. I had an unbelievable harvest of lady bugs in my old apartment but that was by accident.

Does anyone know how to do this/ is it very hard?

I did, I got the first two videos and then had to go to work. It was pretty interesting stuff from what I have seen. It reassures me that if the US goes to hell that we can still survive. The best thing is that people like yourself and I are going to be the ones everyone comes flocking to.

I just realized what post we were on, I thought you were talking out topdressing. I did see the part where the guy was growing the ladybugs but I don't recall them explaining how it was done. I think I might just put the word out that if you have lady bugs taking over your home give me a call.

ok, nematodes in plain agar, lady bugs in a fine mesh hutch on a hibiscus with aphids, crickets with cardboard and wood chips, and spider mites are now grow-en in a culture of worn casts and tomato's/Mellon.(just don't let them get in the worm beds, they are not Friends!)after that we buy on-line anything else that we need.

Yeah, like I said, the more I talk to you the more interesting it sounds. That tells me that what you got going down there is not something WAY out of my reach. I may acutally get to have some of the fun that you have. There are two things holding me back as of right now though. Time, and space. And of course the know how, but it sounds like I will be able to figure a lot of that out on my own.
