Retaining wall before and afters
This is a retaining wall built on a pretty good slope on a golf course. There's no access with trucks and trailers so all stones were loaded into the tractor bucket and moved as close as we could get then by hand across the hill. We also had to cut the trees and brush off the bank for a better view of the water on the course. Enjoy!

Explain that hole. Is it a 45 yard par three over the water? The wall looks good though.

Ha thats definately what it looks like from the picture. It's actually a par 5. The tee box sits next to the pond and looking at the picture the fairway is to the right.

What block did you use for that wall? How much backfill was required for that job?

It's the 12" stone and I think they are called castle stones but i'm not positive. I'd have to go back and check but I'm pretty sure it was right at 1,000 used for this job. 2 tandem loads of topsoil to back fill and let me tell you, one wheel barrow at a time in the middle of July!!
