Smashed my window

Yep....Working in the butt hole of the world. Elizabeth new jersey.

Since I dont usually work on the road myself, I chose not to use a work truck for the 2 hour drive and pulled the line painting trailer with my personal truck. An 06 ford 4 door diesel.

Working on a line painting job at a hospital.

Parked the truck on the road and I was line painting less than 100 feet away from it.

Well in the amount of time it took me to paint 30 lines...about 15 minutes, some scumbag smashed my passenger side window and stole my GPS.

I will admit being from "upstate NY" I didnt think to take more precautions working in this inner city hell hole.

Thought locking the truck and working within a few feet of it would be sufficient and never thought about the GPS.

Now I realize I should have left the dam thing unlocked. Then I wouldnt have to replace a window also.

Scum bags

This used to be a real safe area. Never locked anything. Last month within a 2 week period I had a gps stolen , my canoe that I leave by the river stolen and someone even took 3 dead backflows from my scrap copper pile.
All this happened within 2 weeks of when I had to put down my 12 yo rottie.
I think its time for a new redneck security system ( another rottie)
