I Need A Pro's Help

I need some help with my pond. I have a peace of land i bought and i want to put my house on. The pond goes behind about 6 houses and my lot is the end lot. there is a small channel so when it gets to high the run off goes else were. So i kind of get all the crap from the higher spots. So my side has all the green crap in some places. Is there anything i can do without adding chemicals to help my problem. I will add pictures in a few days when i cut the grass.

Aeration is the biggest help without chemicals. Aerating fountains, etc. Kasco is a big manufacturer.
