2006 toro 21

Just wondering if anyone had heard of a recall on the kawasaki engines for a 21 inch toro? The model number is 22177 and it is was bought august 2006. Thanks.

Why are you asking about the recall? Are you having any problems with yours? I have 20 of them and they seem to break the brake cable over and over again. Have you heard of a RECALL?

Is the problem engine, tranny or deck? I don't have anything good to say about the FJ-180V's, except as a service repair unit they sure give me lots of time. There junk even with all the supposed modifications,(less quality,higher price), my distributor keeps telling me their building 'em better, but the guys using them are the real test, and the result is pitiful, the repairs are more frequent,more costly, if this is progress,give me the old 2 cycle Suzuki,still the best engine ever put on a 21" mower.
