Yep.........you're hearing it right. After being sold on a new Tak TL230 ( incl tax $44,500) I was having second thoughts. I decided to check out a local builder that had a '06 JD CT322 for sale. It has just 170 hours !

Soooo........I made an early trip to check the machine out this morning. It was just as you would expect a machine to be with 170 hrs.........clean and tight. Enclosed cab H/AC ,perfect tracks. He was firm on $32,000 as he paid $ 52,000 for it in '06. It included a set of JD forks and bucket.

I left a deposit and cancelled the TL 230.

$12,500 saved is $12,500 earned.........in my book.

The cab is MUCH smaller in size than the TL 230 but I can deal with the cozy feeling. After all....I'm a small guy.......in height that is

I'll post some pics when I make the final deal.

Congrats on the machine. That's a good deal. I have a set of JD forks that are built very heavy. The CT322 is selling pretty good around here. Guys seem to be pretty satisfied from the ones I've talked to. If that guy paid $52K for it, whoever sold it to him was laughing all the way to the bank. My CT332 was close to that. I think $42K would be more realistic. Hands control, high flow, or 2-speed would add to it. Either way, still a good deal for you. Does it have warranty left?

Even though I hate Deere's, that still a steal of a deal!

Thanks, It is 2 speed and it has the JD style hand controls. Nothing like the TL230 joysticks. I didn't ask about the warranty.....I just assumed that it was over but I'll check.

I thought so too, I just had to cancel the Tak. I hate depreciation........

I demoed that very machine and if I had too use it everyday I would change occupations.

Not the tax depreciation..........the lost value that goes into the dealers pocket vs the real wholesale value of the machine. As long as the machine has low hours and light use...........let the first owner deal with it. More so in this economy
