This is the final product, I ran out of compost so I have to finish the far corner on the right side of the house and the other side of the driveway. Just enough to annoy you. That will be done Mon, I got to work at the FD tomorrow.

most of the jobs I have done have been right at 2000 sq ft, this was bigger. It is the same yard that I am doing a minimal reno in the back, just cleaning it up and leveling it out. I spent a few hours here today spraying for weeds in the back and fungal disease up front. Then the aeration, topdress, etc etc. You get the idea. Long day in a REALLY hot sun. It was cooking today.

the pass on the left of the pic next to the driveway... I guess that is where they started cutting and figured they were cutting too low. Not my doing.

We'll see what I can do. Do you do organics at all?

Oh, and, the first few I raked the lawn to get the compost down... this time I was just sick of working there and brought out the blower, I will have a mask with me next time but that was SO much easier. Like I said, the last few were small. This one was larger. I started to rake and said "screw it", told the customer to close her windows and the dust started flying. Good thing there was a breeze so I was able to stay out of the cloud for the most part.

I make my own small batches of compost and I have a source for free composted manure but thats as far as I go.

The blower is a good idea...dusty but fast!

Lawn looks really good. Got a few questions and didn't want to start a new thread...

What does topdressing do?

What is the compost used made of and how much per yard?

When you say "last", do you mean last as in never doing it again or last as in latest? If last as in never doing it again, how come you're stopping? If last as in latest, carry on.

I'm trying to learn more about this topdressing thing and I am just curious.

His most recent. Search around and you will find my lawn which I topdressed with manure and then sand this season.
