Deltamethrin vs Bifenthrin
Looking for some input on which is the better lawn chemical to use. Got a few grubs to take care of as well as some other Misc pests! Got about 2 acres to cover. Thanks

neither will take care of grubs. You might want to look into something like Allectus if you need to get the grubs as well as surface insects such as fleas/ticks. Deltaguard G (deltamethrin) would be much more costly than bifenthrin for 2 acres.
As for liquids, I use bifenthrin outside and deltamethrin inside. |

Can i just mix the bifenthrin and Imidacloprid or is it cheaper to buy the Allectus. Also, I can't seem to find where to buy allectus. Any ideas?

Here, it is cheaper to mix yourself...MUCH cheaper. Bayer has gotten pretty stupid with their pricing this last year on most everything. We think tis is in large by the expiration of the patent on Merit and the prices dropping. Since they had to lower THEIR prices on one of their feature products (Merit), they are making it up (or trying) in other products.

How big of an area are you treating? You said you have 2 acres but only a few grubs. Bifen works well if you get it to them merit in my opinion is a joke.

Yo
Due to a chinch Bug Resistances to Bifenthrin and a Grub Resistances to Imidacloprid in my area, people are switching BACK to liquid Sevin. I believe the whole problem with chemical resistances and them being taken off the market by the EPA is the marketing of Chemical companies. A new chemical comes on the market as the best thing since sliced bread. The results are way over use of that chemical and the results of over use.

Aloft works great on resistant chinch bugs sevin costs about the same per 1000ft2 but of course it's only good for a few days. Dylox still works best for me with grubs.

I've used merit for many different thing shrubs, turf etc... and the results are very dissapointing. Not many companies around here are still using it.

If I use Sevin for chinch bugs from June until late October I don't have grub problems and no need to use Dylox. I am right on the Gulf Coast with Man made canals and The heart of Grub Country. We get Sugar Cane Grubs you can put a saddle on.
