Design Software

If anyone out there has any suggestions on higher end design software please advise. We have been sampling many types and are finding the $800 - $1000 dollar packages look like they will work well, but we are having a tough time spending that much cash. Not that we wouldnt but it would be nice to have a few experienced opoins before we purchase. If you coudl give specific suggestions of titles that have been used that would be good.

Thanks

Welcome to Lawnsite Yauwsh. Try figuring this pen name huh? If you're looking for high end software thats what you're gonna pay. Unless you go to Landdesigner by Sierra which leaves alot to be desired. Use the search function in this forum, keyword "software" and you'll be amazed at the results.

If you use the software, such as DIG, to its full extent, it will save you time and impress clients. Selling from a color photo is much easier than from circles on a piece of paper. This type of software can pay for itself and make you lots of extra money in a short period of time. That's not a guarantee, but used well, its a great tool.

Lanelle

Do you have a link for DIG software??

I'm Considering Visual Impact (Earthscapes??) It has a great cloning feature and will be about $800 at a show in Somerset NJ later this month

Thanks,

Bob

I don't have a link for DIG software, but a link for Prolandscape is on the LawnCareSuccess link at the top of this page. I may find the other link in a day or two. There are several similar program suites on the market and they have similar pricing from what I have seen.

Just came back from Mid-am show. DIG (Design Imaging Software) is pretty neat. Regular price now for 2d,3d,estimator and lighting, ~$600. Also looked at Visual Impact, about the same thing for $895.

I purchaced Design Imaging Group4 months ago $500

I cant get away from it its so good.

I sent several proposals out from it, the customers where really super impressed with it. I landed a nice retaining wall job out of it already and job is completed.

Theres the design ware for doing the designs, the dig quote for making up correct bid, invoices etc,, and the land quote which I havnt looked to much into at this point yet but will.

A couple years ago it was selling for a lot more.

maybe there is better out there, but im sold on this software so far.
Bissett nursery, the main nursery I deal with has them
email me if you need more info
