The old 88 to 97 F-450s with the 16 inch rubber were tough on tires because those old trucks can carry a good load. Grossing them to 17,000lbs with a load on the deck isn't too hard not to. Had to run the best 16 inch rubber on those trucks to get any wear.
I don't take a chance with steer tires because if you blow a tire on a rural BC highway your pretty well dead or seriously injured. I will save the Bridgestones and use them for spares or send them out to get capped. |
