do people install irrigation in the backyard too?

the time is coming soon where i have to put in a new lawn at my house.was throwing around the idea of putting in an irrigation system and wondered if people put them in the backyard too?

Absolutely. The back yard is just as alive and thirsty as the front.

We have one company in the area called Backyards Only. Sounds like they only do backyards, but I doubt they will turn down a front yard install too. They probably are advertising to the homes where the builder installs a system for the front only on some new homes.

well,we have an inground pool in with al kinds of landscaping done.now thw only thing missing is grass.might as well bite the bullet and do the irrigation in the back too.

might be a weird question.........all the lawns i have seen of the few that did have an irrigation system only had it in the front yard.i thought people didnt get it done in the back yard because people dont really see the back yard.

Must be the phony people who only care about what the neighbors can see and NOT what is hidden in the closets so to speak.
