pain in the butt

hey new to the site. i work for the village of dane mowing lawns. there is this one chunk of land that we have to mow that is about 300 yards by 250 yards that is a pain in the butt to mow. there are no trees and no structure besides one lift staion building that is small. it takes about 7 hours to get the whole thing done because there are these weeds that get about a foot tall and are everywhere. you have to go really slow otherwise you dont get them cut down to the same height as the grass. my boss would like to get rid of them but it would take forever to spray them all. just wanna know if anyone else gets this or if god just hates me somedays.
