Advertising No-No: Flyer Baggies (w/rocks)

To me this is bad advertising. Not only does it look bad, but it is considered littering.

I think people use this method because it is the fastest and easiest (delivering) method. I think it is tacky and lazy to be honest with you. Save the time spent on putting rocks in each bag and actually take the flyer to the doors and get some good exercise.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was discussed and used by someone here. That would be my first thought, it's littering. There's enough of a chance when a flyer blows off a paper box let alone the item starting on the ground. Hey, to each his own.

I've received a few of those and just wish I could return them to the sender in the same fashion.

A guy has been doing this trash in our neighborhood for 5 years.
Either he is one stubborn sob or it is working.

Looks like what you find when you empty trash cans in the park!
The operator needs to work on his image.....if it was fancy and sat there like a mini billboard we'd like it!!!!

Looks like a dope bag! No really that doesnt look good at all and 99% will be thrown out for it looks like trash. We have door hangers made up by Nebs and put them on house doors or thumb tac them to post on mailbox not to upset the postmaster!

I don't know guys, I did this my first couple of years and it worked great. In fact, I'd probably do it again. Granted mine had rigid postcards the same size as the ziplock bag, and a few deco pebbles, it looked really good I thought.

In fact I had 2 customers in a flyer saturated area who said they saved my flyer just because they thought it was a creative approach.

Good proof of how the different areas produce different results with different methods.
