No the box probably weighs that or more plus the wieght in it I am just guessing its like 400lbs or so

Couple of the progress on the dump-I painted the sides with herculiner just like the 03 so they match. Also put the front timbrens on and upgraded the fan clutch and threw a new gator belt on

if i were in your shoes i would get that thing to work right away by taking some scrap angle iron, weld it together and throwing some 2x12 on top so you have some use of this truck..... with a flatbed.

Why would I waste money and time when its getting a dump bed soon I dont need the truck that bad and the spreader will be attached to the dump body I have the other work truck to pull trailers and my dmax if I really needed it

they raise it up a little but help support the wieght of the plow alot. I also put them on the back for carrying loads too. They usually run about 200 for the front and 200 for the back they are a must especially for chevy plow trucks

ok then...what did you settle on?mason dump, Stake dump? grain dump? also does this truck have power locks and windows?

Its getting a regular mason style dump bed half is already down on it I am just waiting for the bed to come in so they can put it on. No truck has manual l/w its a work truck model power l/w is just something else that can break especially when I plow with my window down 75% of the time
