Yea, i can get 21-22-23 all day long on the highway with my diesel, but with the 6.0, forget it lol

Yea lol. Hopefully this spring I can sell my truck and get into an 05 f250 6.0 powerstroke from a friend. But time will tell as always lol. I love my truck I just have always been a ford guy and I have A HUGE diesel itch that needs scratching lol.

Throw 33s, flowmasters and a heavy foot on a 6.0 and you'll see even worse gas mileage.

The exhaust should open it up enough to make a negligible positive difference, however, the 33's are what killed it. And my 5.7 isn't any better, believe me.

my 5.7 gets an average of 14 mpg which is alot better then the 9 from the 6.0

What do you have the 5.7 in? Mine's a '95 K2500 extended cab/long bed with the 4.10:1 gears.

My 5.7 gets 16.4mpg on the highway going down to school and back. Then if I pull the pop up camper it goes down to 14, then pulling my camper down the highway it drops to about 9mpg

Nice thing about the 4.10's is that the mgp is pretty constant, albeit poor. But it's a truck, so I'm not complaining.
