Blazing/Kwiktap/Kwikseal works on heavier poly?

I have the SIDR 11.5 poly 3/4 and 1". Blazing specifically says for 80#/100# pipe. 100# is SIDR 15. My pipe wall is thicker, and OD is a bit bigger since these are ID controlled. Do blazing saddles like BS5000, 7000, 8000 work on it?

Dawn does not say anything about the pipe for their Kwiktap or Kwikseal. Any 1 knows if they work on the SIDR 11.5?

Thank you.

Saddles on heavier poly.

The pipe size that you mentioned, SIDR 11.5 is equivilannt to 100psi poly pipe. As far as it being a thicker wall, I can't answer that. It sounds like Blazings normal 3/4 and 1 inch saddles, (BS4000, BS5000, BS6000, & BS7000, BS8000, BS9000) would work. I have dealt with Blazing a few times, and they are very helpful. I would suggest calling them. 636-449-6500.

They also make metric saddles that are made for 125psi poly.

SIDR 15 = 80PSI
SIDR 11.5 = 100PSI
SIDR 9 = 125PSI
SIDR 7 = 160PSI

Older resins might give you those psi/SIDR relationships, but modern resins make for today's 100 psi poly being SIDR-15

If I lose my post count and have to come back as a "gee, I'm just getting into
irrigation" poster, so be it.
