Fertilizer/seed after aeration?
I live in Long Island, NY
What kind of fertilizers should i lay after I aerate? In terms of seed, am I just throwing down more bluegrass seed? If theres another thread i should be directed to, point

Also what about Lime?
I'm brand spanking new to spreading any fertilizers, so any help is appreciated.

Use a fert with a lower nitrogen and higher phosphate after seeding to establish good root growth. Most starter ferts will have this.
I would not use lime unless you have a problem with your soil PH being to low. If your laying the seed now make sure you get a quality seed that has good % germination so it will take before Winter. Aeration always helps too in the Fall. good luck...
