How many mowings a year?

I know all over the country the mowing seasons are different lengths. Starting and ending at different times. Here in Kansas ours is about 32 weeks long starting after spring break and ending last week of october. Out of those 32 weeks I usually mow 29-30 times on a weeky basis. Usually a week or two that gets completely rained out.

What is your average residential mowing price? Mine start at $30 for single family household and up. Average around $37.00. Lowest is $20 for half a typical duplex.

1 Acre yards get cut for $60-$75 depending on trees and landscape.

Where are you at and what is your season like?

Southern MN here...your mowing season is a bit longer than ours. Usually start mowing 1st week of May, then done by Halloween. Last year, 26 cuts or so. This season with the drought, looking at 23. I would say 24-25 on an average year here.

1/4 resi goes for $30 if in my town, $5 more if in Rochester area.

Ideally 25 but every year it seems like I skip at least one week in August or late July because lawns are just too fried.

28 to 30 cuts estimated a year. Each year seems to be different, though. This year started weekly around the 1st of May and have been down to bi-weekly since 1st of October. Last year we got cuts in the end of March through 1st of Nov. and had many "skipped cuts" in between b/c of the drought. "Skipped cuts" resulted in 20 - 25% decrease in income than projected.

We work on a $30 minimum. Our avg residential is $45.

I'm at 20 Max. per season. I start around May 15 to Oct. 15. That's when my contract ends. Any extra cuts are additional.
