I would like an update from anyone using the Dolmar backpack 7600. I found a dealer that is selling them at $400 and it looks like a good price. Also, the Makita version is on Amazon for $400 but the air volume specifications seem lower than the Dolmar. Any thoughts on that? thanks

Sounds like a very good price. I would have got that if it was $400!!! At the time( Nov 2007) I was narrowing down to Maru BL8100 and 7601. I called around, the cheapest I found was $485. I went with the Maru 64cc.

This is a 75cc, much bigger than 64cc type blowers. I don't care what people say, 75cc is 75cc. You are paying close to $100 less than any of the other blowers!!!
