is this walker a good deal?

Here is the description:

2002 walker mower 36" - $2900
less than 700 orig hours, very well taken care of and hardly used. It has a kohler 16hp motor which runs very strong and burns no oil. also has the large catcher great for clean up of leafs.

With the way a Walker mulches leafs a big catcher is just an extra.

Those machines are great in the fall!

yeah their amazing for the fall as to what i hear. It will probably fit in my 6x12 enclosed with ony of my walk behinds. The only problem is that im thinking about getting a stander next spring. I would want to use the walker on the front yards for a superior cut, then the stander in the back for speed, but i would need a big stander(bigger than 40") but a 40"+ stander will not fit in many gates, so i will be bagging the back lawns when it is not necessary. I usually just bag the fronts and the backs mulch fine. I am stuck in a bit of a dilemma here.

hahah yeah right.
I think i'm probably going to pass on this, and wait it out till spring to buy a new stander. i know people swear by this machine as to its cut quality, but i mulch most of the time only bagging the fronts, and i dont want ot be stuck with this having to use it in the back and be bagging. Besides it being so large a bulky to get in my trailer (and having to buy a bigger trailer). Maybe if it is for sale in the spring or i can get it for dirt cheap i will pick it up JUST for leaf season.
