wheat straw

Does anyone know the approximate square footage a bale of wheat straw will cover. I'd like to find out before I have to go and buy 1 bale and spread it to find out. Thanks for any help.

as in for seeding/erosion control. We put down anywhere from 50 to 75 - 50 pound bales per acre using our straw blower, hope that helps

I'd say a bale would get you about 800 sq. ft.
