What is a 1997 Gravely Pro 200 worth? Mower has 625 hours. It has a 60" Deck/w mulch kit. 22HP Kawasaki Liquid Cooled Engine and is in VGC. Owner wants $ 3500.00 for it. A good deal or not. Thanks for your input.
----------
Steven R. Knapp

You better price a new one before you make any decisions. Seems a little high- even with low hours. Also, you better consider it's a Gravely. Built like a tank, but how does it cut? Try it out in all conditions!

Call a Gravely dealer and ask them.

I have been around GRAVElys a lot. As long as you're not cutting a lot of trash grass (crab grass etc.) or wet grass it will do fine. At 675 hours the bugs should be out of it. Yes, it's worth $3500.00 but I would only offer $3000.00 for it and see if I could bargain it down. After purchase I would do 2 things. First make sure the engine is turning the maximum RPMs allowed by Kawasaki (3600 I believe) and second, I would add triangular gussets to the end of the blade baffles. If you want to see an example of the gussets just look under an Exmark deck. The gussets will minimize grass clumping when cutting tall and thick grass.
