Waterfalls from a couple of years ago

Here are a few more waterfalls for you guys to check out.

What do you guys think of these ones.

Very nice. Your assorted rock sizes and placement look very natural and fit well into the hill. It shows that you can build a nice, natural looking water feature with plain looking quarry stone. We have similar looking stone here, ours is limestone, and it is like $10 per ton. I have always wanted to use it to build a good looking inexpensive feature.

I try to use rockery rock as much as I can, to help keep the materials cost low.

I think we paid $80-$90 ton for the Granite in the first picture from a stone yard not a quarry.

And I think we paid $120-$130 ton for the Basalt, only because it has lichens on it.
You can't really see the lichens in the picture. Also from a stone yard.

I love it when we are able to get our products from the quarry, $15-$35 ton instead of retail prices.

I have used limestone for a few landscape and water feature projects.
The problem I noticed is that during the freezing weather it seems to lose some rock do to cracking off from freezing.

The limestone I have used was Texas Limestone real blocky stuff.

Would love to see some pictures of water features you built with the Limestone.

Man, I would love to get granite like that for $90 a ton. Our average stone cost is $200 a ton for most granite and sandstone boulders.

I just got quoted $120 for 15 tons of granite. I guess it all depends on where you live.

NO JOKE! To build an average pond/waterfall we will be at price for just 4-5 ton. That's a basic build no big boulders etc.
