PM 260Z question
Hello Barry,
I am getting ready to service a 1998 PM 260Z for the first time and I have a few questions. The customer says that there is not a hydro filter on this mower or that he can't find it. If there is where is it located? What kind of fluid goes in this hydro system? If there is not a filter can a 40 micron filter be added? He also says that the left hand direction control stick shakes back and forth when the stick is in the neutral position. What is the cause of this? Thanks Rich |

Mr. Martin,
Barry has passed this along to me for your reply. The PM260 hydraulic filter is located under the chassis below the engine on the left side. It is a 40 micron filter. The hydraulic system uses approx. 5 qts. of Mobil 1 15w-50 synthetic oil. With respects to the jerky control, please check the mounting nuts for the dampener. If that is not the problem the dampener itself may need replacing. Respects, Dan Kilgas
