The TORO Grandstand

We just demoed the Toro Grandstand on wet grounds and i must say it was a treat! the mower delivered a clean cut and a very comfortable ride. The stand plate has a shock absorber for bumps and what not ( it also flods up for a walk behind if the terrain is too steep for a ride on) and also unlike many other mowers, the Toro has a rpm control that is seperate from the wheel speed. Meaning we can cut at a slower speed (slopes, hills , etc..) and maintain a high blade speed for a clean cut and do not have to run the mower wide open ! i suggest demoing one when you can . Now we are deomoing the Wright on monday so i will let you all know what we are going to go with for the up coming year. Let me know if you have any questions or remarks concerning this .. thank you

Are you trying out a ZK, RH, or standard ?

I'm looking forward to your assessment

well i will say that the toro is impressive. a cushion ride and i am no small guy . so far , what i like is the ability to mow at a slow speed and maintain a high blade speed that is going to be beneficial the stander doesnt have a cushion for the stand. i am going to try out the sentar and the stander. the Toro did well on a slope going across and up and down and gave a tremendous cut with in spite of the wet weather we had all day then the stand folds up and you can use the mower as a walk behind if things are to hairy to ride. i will let you know more later. i am going to try it out again tomorrow.

The new ZK has a shock absorbing system on the platform. I did a quick ride around on one a couple of weeks ago and I liked it. The toro dealer here just got the Grandstands in so I am going to drop by there next week.

I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the Grandstand. I was hoping it would be a good machine. I look forward to the conclusion of your review of the Toro and the wrights.

I was on the ZK, not the grandstand. I am going there next week to take a look at them. Dealer just got 2 in.
