Thank you, we are always looking for ways to improve cut quality. I have jigs made up to sharpen blades like razors. We don't let them get as dull as they come when they are new. Good prep work is the most important factor in a nicely manicured lawn!

Do you use them when they are razor sharp or do you dull them up a bit before using? If I use razor sharp blades I find they dull faster and chip easier than if I hand file about a 1/64" edge on them after sharpening
