Walker SD
I understand you guys make a catcher for the Walker 36" side discharge but the word is on the street is that it pulls the deck down on their design giving a uneven cut. Do you have a work-a-round to resolve this issue?

dishboy,
did not see this post earlier - sorry about the tardy response. I have not heard that our catcher pulls this particular deck off kilter, but it is fairly easy to remedy by adding a small counterweight to the opposite side of the deck. 10 - 20 lbs should be enough, as the deck wants to pivot on the catcher side support chain. if it is 8 inches to the near chain and 28 to the one on the other side, you will get about 3X the counterweight comp to the bagger side due to the mechanical advantage of having the weights farther from the pivot point than the catcher.

No. The rod still provides the pivot point for calculating how much weight should be on the opposite side.
