Hey all.Already posted today but have lots of questions. Here goes:
I'm just starting out in the biz but I need bigger mower. Well, I confess, I'm using a residential Toro that I borrow to mow my lawns. Don't get me wrong, Toro is great but the mower has given me problems because it is 5 years old and I'm working when it's about 85 degrees out so conditions are tough. It recently vapor locked and the throttle wouldn't work. Anyway, what do you think is the best W/B with a 48" deck? Also, what is the best value, easy to maintain, and easiest to use. Any info greatly appreciated.

Scag, welcome. Do a search on "best mowers" or whatever and see what comes up. Searching name brands will also help.
Oh, I like Great Dane mowers and think they are the best. Of course, people who like Toro, BobCat, Dixie, or whatever think thiers are best also and they are not wrong. Personal choice and opinion.
Ray

I am looking for some suggestions on which walk behind would be a wiser choice. I will be using them for some rental properties I have as well as my home.
1. Lesco 48" gear with 15hp kawasaki.
2. Bobcat 48" gear with 14hp kohlar.
I was qouted a price of $2499 each. I would also like to know of any WEB sites out there that sell jungle wheels (black).
