Does anyone know how much something like this weighs? Pics!

It is an older asphalt power screeder. 8' to 12' adjustable width. twin 8hp motors, and no drive system, it is a towbehind. I bought it on ebay and need to know what trailer i need to haul it.

That weighs more than what a P/U truck can handle with a trailer. Your better off having it put on a freight companys trailer and have it shipped to you. That is going to weigh atleast 10,000lbs maybe 12,000.

I have a '03 2500 ram diesel. I am sure i can handle it. But I was thinking more about 5000 lbs.

**Note** like most units....this is not slef propelled, it is a towable. So, it only has 2 small motors vs most that have a large motor and drive system.

I think pavers can weigh anywhere from 17k - 40k.

I'm thinking yours is closer to the 17k.

You will need a large trailer.

You will most likely be over 26k GWR towing this anywhere...I don't know about Canada, but down here you would need a CDL license.

hope this helps out a bit.

Maybe I'm wrong..cause it does look a little on the small side, with no drive system as well..

My question is:

Why in the hell would you buy something like this not knowing if you could haul/tow/pull this thing?

Impulse purchase of the internet?
