With gas prices back down the price of larger trucks is going back up, and smaller coming down.

Cool, I wouldn't mind scoring a Ranger on the cheap. How much can you tow with a stick and the four-cylinder?

I used to tow a 185 Sullair or IR with my '87 Toyota. Probably wasn't the best idea. But, I'm looking for an automatic, not a stick. It goes back to the knees issue. Just a more enjoyable ride for me if it's auto.

Dont have the owners manuel handy, but I wanna say a 2.8 auto is 1680lbs.

I had a Ranger (jeez, that sounds dirty), never was comfortable with it. I went to F-150 trucks and still have my third one with over 200K.
