Give him a SERIOUS talk, and then watch him like a hawk. If he does it again, FIRE HIM! If you do not do this, he will only steal again.

He will steal again, it's just a matter of whether or not you notice. The closer you watch him the sneakier he'll have to be. I'd get rid of him.

There have been many issues on this topic.

the plain and simple truth is that your NOT paying him enoulf....

if an employee only steals 7 to 8 % your good... If they reach 10 your outta business in 2 years....

armed with this info, I always would give away 2 to 3%, it makes everyone happy.
