What BOOTS are the best.
I absolutely love the wolverine boots i have but the sols wear out in half a season. I am just wondering what boots do you guys wear and what would you reccomend.

My good ol caterpillers, these things have been through hell. The one on the right, where it is cut open, was from a chainsaw, ya, I sometimes wore sandals whiling using one, not no more! And notice the screws holding the sole on those screws are all around the boots. They keep your feet warm, sometimes to warm, and you feet sweat. Overall great boots.

I get Brahmas from Walmart. They're like $30 or $40 and I go through a couple a season, but I've had better boots and I've trashed them just as quick. So I just get the Wal-mart ones because they're cheap and comfortable.

Red Wing boots & shoes are all my feet have known since I was 16. I have each boot resoled as needed. With some TLC Red Wing leather uppers will last? dare I say forever; cause I cannot wear my uppers out.
Red Wing "WORX" are made in china for Red Wing, and cannot be resoled All Red Wing boots are made in USA, and can be resoled for around $75.00 that includes a Vibram sole |

i currently use the two pair of wovlerines a year. demolich the sole half year. i used to use the lawn grips for a few years but the soles are pathetically weak. other than that they were the best thing i have worn. i wrote them about my opinion but they said that was the best they coulddo. oh well. no more for me at like 119$ a pair. i used to use caterpillar boots and they were the toughest but very heavy.

I have worn Merill, Wolverine, Rocky, Timberland, etc. I buy high end Goretex only now. They usually last 6 months. About $200-$300/Year in boots. I have tried the Wal-Mart shoes and my feet said NO! Take care of your feet. Yeah it cost me alot but my feet are happy. I also wear good wool blend socks year round, and no, my feet don't get hot or sweaty. That's what the Goretex will do for you.
