Is there a easy way to recoil a recoil on a redmax 7001

Yes, let's say you are doing a weed wacker that the rope broke on. Take the housing off that holds the recoil. Next place the housing on the ground and remove the plastic spool that holds the rope. When removing the spool, be carefull that you don't disturb the spring. Remove the old rope and insert the new rope the way the old rope was. Now wind the rope, I think counter clockwise, but leave about 4 inches that isn't wound. On the recoil spool there is a notch in it,take the last part of the wound rope and push it in there so the 4 inch loose end sticks straight up. Reattach the spool to the spring, once the spool is back on hold the loose rope in the notch and rotate the spool counter clockwise like 2 turns. Then take the loose end and stick it through the hole in the recoil housing and put your handle on this end. I tried, I hope this helps.

sorry i thought you wanted to replace the spring not the pull ROPE
