Andrew looking good. I wish I had the cash I would buy your grinder in a heart beat. Had few jobs would had came in handy for and have a bunch coming up, but haul off instead and pay the dumping fee. Doing a booth again this year at NE grows?

Krazy- I love that 5. Granted its newer, but it has to be the smoothest finish dozer I've ever run.

Dylan- We will be at the show again as long as its not snowing. Are you planning to go again this year?

Same boat as you as long as there is no snow ill be there for one of the days. Have to talk when it gets closer and set up a lunch or dinner meeting so I can pick your brain.

They run peterson pacific horizontals on tracks, they have 5 running just by me and the line goes for 80 miles so who knows all the other equipment they have. Cat 325D's on some mean single grouser tracks with grapples loading them. A whole yard full of supertracks, skids and excavators with fecon heads.

The coolest thing is when they lay the drag line mats, they use those 8x8 timer carrier machines with the log loader on them and the basket in the back. They load the basket with mats and then use the loader to place them. Im talking miles of mats right over swamps.

Andrew from a business standpoint, have yall gone after a contract or inquired about others interest in a service, before buying the equipment?

Krazy- when we first started, we got the contracts before we got the machines. This is the safest and most prudent way to conduct business. Since then we have added machines that we knew had an immediate market for them (like the two excavators we have) and then a few other machines we purchased a bit more speculatively while evaluating the possibilities to jump into other markets (like the dozer, loader, and grinder). While speculative actions are always more risky, you can guard against some of that risk by purchasing certain machines and structuring your business so that every different division can be separated from other divisions if things don't work out.

Thanks Andrew, working in making some contacts and possibly getting some contracts signed for orders of sandbags etc.. From a few municipalities an govt agencies around me that way i can go ahead and get an enclosed cab tracked machine and possibly a dump w/ tag along trailer. That way after those orders are filled the machine will be payed off.
