Okay guys friend ask me which brand he should buy for a compactor Bomag or whacker so what are your thougt go for it.

Depends on the comapction force you are looking for and the jobs you plan on doing. To answer your question they are both good products. If I was buying new I would go for the best price. Times are tough so oyu can get some good deals off of craigslist and some rental houses.

assuming each is sold by a local dealer (parts can be hard to get if not) then buy what ever has the better price.
In that range your mostly looking for a quality engine I prefer honda engines when i can get them on equipment but you pay a little more. |

I can get a smaller Wacker reversible with a 15" plate for around $4K. That's the way I would go.

There is Bomag on Craigslist in Southcounty for $500 but it is a 20" plate I assume. I'm not sure where in MO you are.
