I need TAX Help!!!!

Could anyone please tell me what is taxable as far as snow removal goes???
1- salting commercial and resendential
2- plowing commercial and resendential
3- supplies (example: rock salt)
4- Equipment (examples: trucks with polows, snowblowers, salters)
5- roof raking
6- part-time employeees for only the snow season

Any help and/or input would be greatly appreciated!!!

This will vary from state to state. I recommend you call your state dept of taxation or your accountant.

Get the information right from the source.

Procut is right.... and I will take it a step further, Do Not seek tax advice on lawnsite. Contact you state for direct and correct information, to much rides on this...........

salting and plowing are not taxable in wi, supplies are taxable, you will pay the tax for salt and then you pass it along to the customer, you also pay tax on any snow equipment you purchase, and you will have to pay taxes on any help you hire, does not matter if they are full or part time.
