You guys do realize (obviously not) that the average cost per lawn in insurance is only $1 per cut.....hardly a difference maker in price between those that are insured and those that arent.

YET we hear ad nauseum that so and so must not be insured because they have no overhead and are cheaper.

Bump on this thread, good stuff...

I think some people respond to flashy flyers and others respond to homemade flyers. It's just a matter of personal preference. When I was doing solo work a few years ago I had on my ad that I was a solo operator. Why? Because I didn't want to give the impression that a big truck with a long trailer full of equipment was going to pull up to their house. If I hire someone that has a flashy custom flyer I instinctively expect to see a company vehicle that is clean and the worker(s) all uniformed.
