i thought you might have been talkin about the mark at butler, they got horrible customer service there in sales, i gotta be bolder then i would like to be to get what i want answered.... but they are the easiest to negotiate with on price. perhaps he's somewhat bitter someone half his age is running a business, but when it comes down to it, price is all that matters.

Customer service for dealerships is the only thing that matters in my business. The price is the price. As long as my equipment gets fixed and put back out on the trailer i am happy.

How do you guys like your Ferris? I bought a 3100 two years ago. Have they held up to your expectations?

Yea i have the 1500 52" 25 kawi. Its a 05 and i am talking with mark right now about upgrading. I really like the size of the 1500 though because it fits everywhere and all my attachments would easily fit the new mower. But i also would like the full independant suspension. Ferris went up over 1000 on the machines this year. uuggg

Punt see if he has left over 08s. I saved a good amount by getting a leftover when i got the 3000. The front suspension is much better in my opinion on the 3000 (think its 3100 now actually)

He had a 2000 61" BB 08 i was about ready to pull the trigger on but he sold it on me. He has left over 3000 though. He just goy in a bunch of liquid cooled 26 kawis for a good price but i hear those dont run the baggers well and i want the Briggs 30 BB. I will buy it this year but i am not in a rush and am waiting for mark to give me a deal i cant refuse like he did with my 1500. I was at his place the other day to get a new satrter for the 1500 and got talking to him about the 2000. He told me the 1500 and the 2000 now have the same pumps. They upgraded the pumps in the 1500. We checked the machines on his floor and indeed they were the same part number. So if i go with the 2000 the advantage is the better suspension and dual tanks. I know the 2000 would be a better ride but i can get a new 1500 briggs BB for 7600 and the 2000 is over 9k.

They have raised prices then. i got my 61" 27hp 3000z 2 years ago for 8000.. and the bagger was another 2 so it was 10600 with tax. maybe pricing will come back down once warehouses fill up with excess inventory
