Vallen Safety Co's. Olympic style, tortoise frame, amber lens, with a +1.50 bifocal built in, red frogger lanyard. Hey, I'm gettin old and I hate flippin from readers to sunglasses. These are ANSI Z87.2 approved with a built in bifocal for only $12 bucks. Why do I wear them? #1, I can't play a musical instrument. #2, the guys that write the checks require them

I have Oakleys also. I got a great deal on them a while back and love them more than any other glasses.

I wear Oakley's as well. They are safety glass rated. They wrap around your eyes real nice. I get a new pair every year. My 8 yo neice lost a eye when she was 2. New glasses every year is a SMALL price to pay. -Jason

Actual safety glasses. I have three different pairs. Tinted, Smoked, and Clear.
I have had more stuff fly at my from underneath my glasses than directly at so I just feel like actual safety glasses are better at wrapping around my face and protecting from the sides and below. Granted the bigger stuff like mulch or rocks do come straight at me. Anyone taken a rock to the nose or lip? Either that or a rock to your white knuckles on a trimmer...that'll almost bring me to my knees.

Anyone have any good suggestions for over-the-glasses safety glasses? I tried to get by without safety glasses, but I catch too much stuff under my frames. I use some from Lowes (tourguard) but just wondering if some of you guys have other recommendations.
Thanks - Dan |
