I was wondering if their were some good books to learn more about irrigation, I am adding this year spring and fall irrigation maint. so I want to learn as much as possible

Try Amazon....

Also Rainbird has (or had, haven't been there in a long time) a ton of educational information on their website.

Go to rainbirds website and find a rainbird class in your area. Its good hands on training if you have no experience. Most of the stuff is common sense until you get into the troubleshooting of a system and also the design is one of the most important things if you plan on doing new installs.
