EZ Dump install on 2500HD

We are putting an older EZ Dumper in the bed of an '03 Chevy 2500HD. Since there are no bolts in the bed itself, how do you mount it? I would call and ask EZ Dump, but it sounds like they are no longer functioning.

Thanks

I had mine installed last season. They just put the insert in with the bed in the up position and used clamps that came with it and drilled 4 holes in the bed and bolted it down with the clamps over the frame of the insert. hope this helps.

Yea, drilling most likely the easiest way. I got a set of 27 titanium coated drill bits for like $25 and it puts holes in anything i want.

From there, just bolt it down.

POst some pics when your done!

Do the frame rails on the dump line up with the frame on the Chevy?

Thanks

You would have to measure the dump bed then go under the truck and measure there too.

When I had mine installed they fabbed up four large brackets that bolt to the sides of the truck frame, and they drilled holes through the bed to bolt the frame of the insert to those brackets.
