You can buy compacts that are up to 60 HP. The sub compacts top out at 26HP.



The 1635 pictured above is rated @ 2,800 pounds at the link ends, and it has no problems at all.

WilliamBos not quite sure the tach cable broke with 65hrs on it. I replaced it twice, and each time it broke. It is 3 yrs and must have put b/w 100 to 125 on it per yr. I it is a great machine with a lot of llabs

Take a look at a John Deere 4520....I think their 52hp. A buddy of mine has one and it has tons of power for pulling a double bottom plow and a eight foot disk. The loader lifts quite a bit also.
