ZK fuelgauge leak

I have a new ZK and it leaks gas out from the fuel gauge on the left tank. How does this gauge come out? Does it just pop out with a little pressure or is it threaded into the tank somehow. My dealer is 190 mile round trip away. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My second Wright Stander, They're great mowers.

rlmelton,

The gauge in the tanks is a compression fit so you should be able to pry it out. Two things could cause this issue, either the gauge grommet tore when put into the tank, or the gauge hole in the tank is not true and is not letting the grommet seal properly. So the fix will be either a new tank or a replacement grommet. When you pop out the gauge we will be able to verify the issue, please call us at (301)-360-9810 and we will take care of the issue.

Best Regards
