SO far we are not as affected by the recession as other places, we are pushing forward, "business as usual", but if it starts to turn south on us, I am planning on pushing services that ultimately save them money, like replacing high cost to maintain landscape with less costly features. Most of my clients pay about $200/month, just to water their lawn, plus fert, and many pay for mowing too.

Why lower your prices, I believe that is one of the worst things you can do. You are basically giving in. At least have the same rates as last year (if possible).
