Seriously, I like AZ's angle. SO far we are not as affected by the recession as other places, we are pushing forward, "business as usual", but if it starts to turn south on us, I am planning on pushing services that ultimately save them money, like replacing high cost to maintain landscape with less costly features. Most of my clients pay about $200/month, just to water their lawn, plus fert, and many pay for mowing too.

Why lower your prices, I believe that is one of the worst things you can do. You are basically giving in. At least have the same rates as last year (if possible).
