Nothing feels as great as going to work everyday, busting your butt, and actually losing money every minute. Did you call the guy and ask him what the hay he is doing?

If he is installing knock offs or offshore lights for that he is probably making pretty decent profit margins.

We have installed quick easy to do projects in that price range using the same brass fixtures we use on normal installs and done very well. I am talking about the 2000 sq ft tract home... no bores...no headaches and you can have them done in 2-3 hours. I price by the job or by the zone not by the fixture.

Pricing by the fixture will bite him in the end tho. It gives people an invitation and incentive to delete a fixture here or there leaving you scratching your head when you figure out your bottom line.

Ryan. Craigslist is public. At least give us a link to his posting or share with us the complete contact info.

I see more and more people trying to hustle business on Craigslist - Landscaping, Stone Work and Lighting. I wonder if they get any work on there. I have bought a few things off Craigslist - tools, trailers etc... However, I think that it would be the last place that I would look for highend craftsmanship. But hey if your looking for cheap its probably the place to go.
