the tractor used with about 8000 hours on it is around $110,000 the 4 flail mowers are added on are about $20,000 each so your looking at $200,000 machine

That type of mower is nothing new. I saw a similar unit but with only a deck or two in Germany when I lived there back around 92'. They are great for steep slopes along the road as well as ditches.

That ditch looked pretty smooth, so it seemed like once the operator set the mowers down, he could go and not have to adjust anything. Around here that's not the case, between signs, guardrails, rocks, etc. Their would be no way an operator can keep up with 4 separate arms, driving down the road without digging them into the ground, or an object.

that sure is neat, but I cant help but notice the second flail mower on the front was scalping the crap out of the top of the ditch. neat nonetheless
