Get the stihl BR 600, its the most powerfull blower that stihl makes, it runs great, isn't too heavy, and also looks the best.

+1 on the stihl!! its the most comfortable blower i've ever used. its power to weight ratio is unbeatable and there is nothing to snag on the blower with its shape. the controls are very operator friendly too! the choke will click off with a pull of the throttle (sweet when your walking to the property, b/c its on ur back warming up on 1/2 choke and all you do is click the trigger to get it to idle, and then ur ready to go) Its a nice time saver, along with the kill switch too.

only thing i dont like is the fact that the gas tank is the smallest in its class for a 60+ cc blower. but it does make it lighter on your back.

i love mine, but thats just imo.

My fear of getting a back pack is starting it. If for whatever reason it dies while on your back, how do you get it started up again?

They make an adapter you can put on a cordless drill and it will turn it over.
