I paid $10,600.00 out the door back in 2007 for my 2006 mc with 42" deck. It went up last year about a $1000. Of course in California everything is higher though.

I think a MT with either a 42" or 48" is right around 10k. I would def. step up to the MT with more HP, bigger blower, and bigger catcher.

Bigger is not always better as a light weight machine leaves less of a foot print on small sections of turf. The secret IMO is to have control of the fert. program so growth is managed negating the need for big HP and bags. To the OP , last years pricing was 10500 here , but by traveling 200 miles to another dist. region I could save around $700.00 on that.

The newer MC's have the same blower (10.5") and bag as the mt. Difference is the frame and clam shell design, instrument panel as well as more hp.
