Main Landscaping Done

Just finished this afternoon.

Looks pretty good. I can't wait to see it about June of next year. I ended up splitting up the hostas that I heeled in and those are in some of the bigger blank spaces you see. All together I ended up with 15 hostas.

Pro Landscape image editor. I love it. I really think the program has been able to generate business that otherwise I wouldn't get. I attribute my success (subjective statement) to that program. What I mean with that is I've done installs for people who had been kicking tires for a long time and they haven't been able to "see" what kind of product they are actually wanting and other scapers haven't been able to convey to the client what the final product will be.

Thanks for the compliments on the work. Between the paver sidewalk and the landscaping I really feel it's going to look great in a couple of years. The thing that I keep noticing in my pics is that all my curves look great to me.

For lack of better terms, sensuous is what comes to mind when I look at the pics and specifically the curves.

One Last Look

Got the dirt work finished at the farm house. I can officially forget about it until next April.

I decided to go ahead and take another round of pics and will probably be the last of this part of the project until I revisit it next summer.

So, there is a small buzz about the place and the work done. Everyone that knows me has drove by to look at it, and one gentleman suggested it be on the parade of homes tour between the property history, landscaping, and interior remodeling.

That would be sweet if something like that could happen for the advertising factor, but also would put a ton of pressure on me to make the outside look good.

Now to finish a few odds and ends this week and I'll be on-call for snow the rest of the winter.

Your work looks great, all of it. If you don't mind me asking what are you planing on putting in the mulch circle in one of the last pics?

Thanks

Originally we were thinking of putting in just an annual bed starting tall in the center and working down.

Now though, me and the HO have been looking at it and decided it needs a statuary of some sort and annuals around it. It might be a while to find something that will be fitting, but that is the plan for now.

We were kinda steering away from a water feature as they are both busy and I only go out there once every two weeks in the summer, but a three tiered fountain would look great in the center, even if there was no water and/or filled with annuals. Ultimately the fountain shape would look great.
