Train Horns anyone?

Anyone have train horns on their trucks? I'm looking into buying a set. It won't be my main horn, but will have a little button on the side. After doing some research on them... their really expensive (1200) their really redneck, but i really want them! Anyone have them?

I already have a 120v compressor on-board for tools powered with an inverter and an 8 gal aux. tank. I got a set of horns on ebay, $50. You can get a tank for like 30 bucks and re-fill it with your shop compressor whenever you want to get horny. These is the horns I got, they are LOUD. Same guy has compressors and tanks for cheap that run on your 12v. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chrom...spagenameZWDVW

Something to consider.

If Banks will make an exhaust brake for the Ford 6.0, I would buy it. And then I would have air in the truck, so I would probably add air bags in the back and air horns. Electric horns lack the ability to generate real urgency in the mouth-breathing ******s that seem to have been born to pull out in front of me while I am grossing 20,000 lbs.

train horns

I bought a set of horns and compressor and all the wiring and air lines and fittings for 417 dollars last year, Go to www.hornblasters.com My buddy bought a set off of ebay and they are junk, mine blows his out the water, if you buy cheapies the diaphrams in them break and get worn out, and arent strong at all, thats what makes all the noise.
